Why I Created the UGC Accelerator (From a Mom of 3 Who Tried Everything)

Updated: 6 days ago

There’s something no one really prepares you for when you become a mom:

The moment you start looking for ways to earn income from home, you’re suddenly surrounded by noise.

Courses. Programs. Promises.

“Six figures.” “Passive income.” “Just post once.”

And somehow… you still feel stuck.

This post is my honest story — and the real reason the UGC Accelerator exists.

I’m a Mom of 3 — and I’ve Tried

Everything

Before Ignite Mama.

Before UGC.

Before building anything online that actually made sense…

I tried a lot.

I tried Scentsy.

I tried blogging.

I tried following every new “opportunity” that promised flexibility and freedom for moms.

Some things worked a little.

Most things required way more time, money, or energy than I had.

And almost all of them left me thinking:

Why does this feel harder than it should?

The Problem I Kept Seeing (And Feeling)

What frustrated me most wasn’t just that things didn’t work.

It was watching other moms spend:

  • Hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars

  • On programs filled with big promises

  • With very little clarity about what actually happens after you buy

I saw programs that:

  • Taught too many income streams at once

  • Left you to “figure out” what to focus on

  • Used hype instead of honesty

  • Charged premium prices without real-world support

And I remember thinking:

If I feel overwhelmed… how many other moms feel the same way?

I Didn’t Want to Sell Hope — I Wanted to Build Something Real

That’s where the idea for the UGC Accelerator came from.

I didn’t want to create:

  • Another “get rich quick” promise

  • Another multi-income program that overwhelms beginners

  • Another course that sounds good but feels confusing in practice

I wanted to create what I wish existed when I was stuck.

Something:

  • Clear

  • Focused

  • Honest

  • Built for real life, not hustle culture

Why I Chose UGC (And Only UGC)

UGC — user-generated content — stood out for one simple reason:

👉 It’s one clear income skill that doesn’t require:

  • A big following

  • Going viral

  • Becoming an influencer

  • Selling to friends or family

UGC is about:

  • Creating short, authentic content for brands

  • Getting paid for your time and creativity

  • Building a skill, you can actually finish and repeat

Instead of teaching everything, I chose to teach one thing well.

What Makes the UGC Accelerator Different

The UGC Accelerator was built with intention.

It’s for:

  • Moms who want clarity, not chaos

  • Moms who want real job resources, not just theory

  • Moms who are tired of hype and want honest expectations

Inside, I focused on:

  • One clear roadmap

  • Real platforms and resources

  • Step-by-step guidance

  • Transparency about what UGC is (and what it isn’t)

No gatekeeping.

No pressure.

No inflated promises.

This Isn’t Just for Moms — It’s for Anyone Who Feels Stuck

While Ignite Mama was created with moms at heart, the truth is:

The UGC Accelerator is for anyone who:

  • Feels overwhelmed by online income options

  • Wants something realistic and doable

  • Is tired of chasing the next shiny object

But it was built by a mom — in real life — with kids around, limited time, and a strong desire to do things differently.

My Promise to You

I won’t promise:

  • Guaranteed income

  • Instant success

  • Effortless money

What I do promise is:

  • Honesty

  • Clarity

  • A real skill you can build on your own terms

The UGC Accelerator exists because I believe moms deserve better than broken promises.
